An indicator of our democracy’s health is how our has split into distinct spheres. State (propaganda) media (e.g.Fox, Newsmax). “Neutral” or “Mainstream” media (WaPo, ABC News). Pro-democracy outlets (Heather Cox Richardson, Meidas Network, PodSave America). This last group is growing by leaps and bounds as talented journalist leave “Mainstream” media instead of self-censoring.

Eliot Day at the State House - April 15th

Rep. Michele Meyer has offered to host 20 Eliot residents at the State House on 4/15. She will meet us at the welcome center, show us where to sit in the gallery - where the Marshwood Middle School Chorus will be singing the National Anthem at 10:00am, and where we can then watch the House in session and get a tour in the afternoon.

Resistance, opposition - whatever you want to call it is going to take many forms. No one knows the best path to take, but we do know that we are stronger together and that our voices are strongest here where we live.
